Re Vamps are created by using many different layers, using the original photograph and the base layer. Keeping that in mind understanding the difference between the two is very simple.
Full Re Vamp: this is done by taking the original photograph and chopping it up, duplicating sections and fitting them together like a puzzle. Usually each chopped section then has a different artistic style applied to it.
Partial Re Vamp: this is done by creating multiple layers within the photograph adding colors and textures.
